"Staring" you call it,
it's "rude", you say.
"Oberservant" it is,
just attention I pay.
Then you confront me:
"Got a problem, dweep?"
And call me retarded
for the silence I keep.
Watching you closely
leaving after a dwell.
I totally missed
hearing the bell.
All of a sudden
you disappear,
behind a large crowd
and I tremble with fear.
So much noise,
I cannot think straight.
Trying to escape,
I tempt the fate.
They're all passing by,
some pushing my back.
What I currently need
is to calm down for a sec.
So I kneel down
screening ears and head,
humming constantly
to block out the threat.
They're rushing towards me,
offering help,
which makes it worse,
as I start to yelp.
I'm getting louder
as more people come near,
I can't tell them apart,
'cause my vision's not clear.
"Asperger" you call it,
it's a "dysfunction" you say.
"Thinking different" it is,
but what price do I pay?
